Welcome To The Birthing Room

Support and education from the comfort of your own home.

Prenatal classes in Toronto have changed so much in the last few years, and learning about the birthing and postpartum processes, now-a-days, can be  fun, empowering, and supportive as well as informative.  â€‹You are also no longer restricted to only taking hospital based birth classes, many of which are now being offered by cord blood banking companies with a vested interest in selling their services.

Classes taught by certified doulas and certified childbirth educators can offer not just evidence based information but a plethora of options available to you in your labour and birth so you, as the birthing parent, are able to make decisions about your birth that is unique to you and your birth journey. Your educator will be available to answer your questions and offer support so that you feel comfortable with your journey through birth and beyond.

The only thing predictable about birth, is that it is unpredictable, therefore the best way to give birth, is informed.

Online Video Classes

Why take an online course with the Toronto Doula Group? These courses are exact matches to the classes that are offered in my hospital based in person classes, with some updates.

These classes are designed to enhance your knowledge so you can make informed decisions and are extensive in content to help relieve any anxiety and fear you may be feeling about birth and beyond.

Plus, just because these classes are online and pre-recorded doesn't mean you won't get support.  I love answering questions.  I encourage you to take notes during the classes and if you would like further clarification on anything at all that has been discussed, please send me an email and I will answer as fully as I can.

And finally, these classes are available to you for 6 months so you can go back and review and you will have the detailed handouts available as well.
